Who i help

I help families struggling with: depression, anxiety, complex trauma, attachment disorders, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, parent-child relationships, eating disorders, obsessions and compulsions, chronic illness, grief and loss, neurodevelopmental disorders, and suicidal ideation.

Any of this sound familiar? You’re not alone.
Let’s work together to get you and your family where you want to be.

Kids

Children struggle too. There is hope for your kiddo.

Early Childhood: 0-5 Years

Your little one has big feelings, really big feelings. If your kiddo’s meltdowns make you lose your cool too, I can help. I specialize in helping parents of young children decrease tantrums and increase connection with play-based and attachment-focused strategies. From emotional and behavioral dysregulation to picky-eating and sensory sensitivities to separation anxiety—  Let’s work together to get you and your little one back to the joy of childhood.

Kids & Pre-Teens: 6-12 Years

As a parent, it can be surprising and saddening to learn your child is struggling. I’ve helped hundreds of children and families find hope and healing from depression and anxiety to behavioral problems to childhood trauma. I help children express and regulate their emotions, find comfort and connection with a parent or trusted caregiver, and effectively cope with the challenges of childhood.

Help for your child is just one click away.

Teens

Adolescence doesn’t have to be stressful. I help teens and families thrive.

Adolescence is a complex period— full of change, confusion, and conflict— no wonder it’s so challenging for both teens and their parents. But it doesn’t have to be! I help teens and parents through crises, such as risky behaviors, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, relational stress, school trouble, and identity formation. I equip you and your teen with tools to effectively cope and communicate while keeping you connected.

Listen to that little voice that says it’s time for a change.

Family Therapy

Helping your family move from stress to security is at the heart of what I do. I am your partner through whatever your family is facing—no challenge is too big or too small.

Every family has “stuff”— from broken-down communication to unhealthy relationship patterns, to trauma, and major crises. These dynamics and life challenges can be a major source of stress for your family. I’m here to help with the big and little challenges, helping you move from stress to security. In Family Therapy, you will be equipped with researched-backed tools and in-the-moment opportunities to practice new ways of communication, regulate your emotions, and deepen your connection with your whole family.

Ready to reconnect with your family? Let’s work together.

Parent Coaching

Parenting is hard. Parent Coaching equips you with practical solutions to address challenging behaviors while keeping you and your child or teen connected.

Parenting isn’t easy. You’ve tried it all and you feel like you’ve gotten nowhere, or maybe the problem has even gotten worse. You’re doing the best you can, and you still feel the dread that you’re “messing up” your child. Good news, there is no such thing as a “perfect parent,” only a growing parent.

In my work with hundreds of caregivers, I’ve found that subtle changes to parenting strategies can make drastic changes in the life of the child. My attachment-based and trauma-informed approach to Parent Coaching offers practical tools to address the most challenging problems you’re facing with your child while keeping you connected. I’ll be your coach and cheerleader, helping you respond not only to the behavior, but to the heart of your child.

Small changes to parenting, big changes in the life of your child. Real change is possible for your family, and it starts with you.

Virtual sessions are hosted on a secure online platform. All you need is an internet connection, a web camera, and a private space to talk and we can get started! Get secure, convenient, socially-distanced support— that’s the power of digital mental healthcare.

My online services are available for California residents.

In-Home Therapy allows us to work with the whole family system, in the safety of your family’s natural environment, and address the problems right where they occur. I’ll meet your family right where you’re at—bringing the best of pediatric mental healthcare, straight to the comfort of your home.

Multi-day Intensives

Families in crisis or chronically stuck in unhealthy cycles may benefit from a multi-day, in-home intensive approach to kickstart growth and healing.

Is your family in crisis? Do you feel chronically stuck in patterns with your children that only make matters worse? Or maybe you’ve tried weekly therapy and one-hour sessions just aren’t cutting it. Your family needs more intensive support. Working with the whole family system is at the heart of what I do.

The multi-day, in-home Intensive is designed to get to the core of your family’s challenges, right where they are occurring— your living room— in a concentrated amount of time. This intensive approach consolidates a few months of therapy into a few days to kickstart your family’s growth. The 3-Day (18-21 hours total) Intensive is tailored to your family’s needs and helps get at the heart of the problem that is keeping your family stuck. Through a combination of individual, parent-child, and family therapy sessions, we will address your family’s challenges with opportunities to apply the new skills and strategies in real-time. The Intensive concludes with four follow-up sessions at one-week, one-month, 3-months, and 6-months. The Intensive is designed to jumpstart your family’s growth and healing. Lasting change requires families to continue to practice skills and apply insights gained from the Intensive.
